A key capability within our joinery department is Corian® fabrication. Benchmark boasts qualified Corian® Quality Network craftsmen who are trained and certified in Corian® fabrication and installation to ensure that the proper methods and procedures are always adhered to.

Created by DuPont™ in 1967, Corian® is a solid, non-porous surface material that allows for great versatility when it comes to joinery design and fabrication: it has become the material of choice for so many applications including both commercial and residential projects.

Benefits of this highly adaptable material which is available in a choice of 180 colours, include:

• Seamless design - Custom cut solid surface with capabilities to create seamless joints
• Flexible applications - ability to mould, when heated, into practically any shape imaginable
• Durable solid surface - does not scratch or discolour easily and can withstand frequent spills and use
• Non-porous & hygienic - non-penetrable material: substances are not absorbed by the surface or trapped in pores
• Easy maintenance - scratches can be easily polished out without affecting the colour
