Benchmark brings ‘Street’ bars to life at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards
Benchmark recently attended the official awards ceremony for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2016 which took place at the Old Truman Brewery in London on the 29th of September.
As ‘Design & Build Partners’ Benchmark collaborated with leading designers and architects to build two contemporary bars for the ceremony. Under this year’s theme of ‘Street’, the designs were inspired from street art, music and dance from various eras.
Benchmark worked with STAC Architecture to build the ‘Go Punk Yourself’ bar which paid homage to 70’s London street punk. For the second bar, Benchmark’s collaboration with Moreno Massey resulted in a 90’s bar under the title ‘Street Britannia’.
